KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC.
Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.
Founded in 1911 at Indiana University
The Atlanta (GA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on February 22, 1924, making it the second oldest chapter below the Mason Dixon line, second only to the Pi Chapter at Morehouse College. Throughout the years, the Atlanta Alumni Chapter has served as a shining example of what committed Kappa Men can do. We are extremely active in the community holding an annual Student of the Year Pageant that awards scholarships to deserving students based on criteria such as academics, poise and talent. We also sponsor various local Guide Right Program activities including clothing and food drives and Habitat for Humanity Projects. The Atlanta Alumni Chapter is one of the largest in all of Kappa Alpha Psi. We have consistently been the home of outstanding Kappa men who epitomize the fraternity’s motto of “Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor.” For over 98 years the Atlanta Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi has served as a Beacon in the community and a Diamond in the Southeastern Province. As we continue into the future, the Atlanta Alumni Chapter will continue to focus on Achievement, Service to the community, and the development of our Undergraduates.
As part of the Southeastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., the College Park (GA) Alumni Chapter (CPAC) was originally chartered on April 4, 1981 in the city of College Park, Georgia. The chapter’s focus was to represent the interests of the fraternity in the southwest portion of the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. The chapter came into existence as a result of the vision and foresight of eleven industrious brothers. That vision is being carried on today by more than 50 active members in the Atlanta metro area.
